I choose the fittings and fixtures with help from Plumbing World and the work was carried out with professionalism, expert workmanship and minimum intrusion on us. From start to finish I was totally impressed with how quickly things happened because of the professional knowledge and management skills shown by the excellent project manager Gavin Chambers. He was exceptional good to deal with. His advice throughout was sound and the way he co-ordinated all the various tasks and people was simply amazingly and very well done. He made it very easy for us as he was our one point of contact.
He timed the deliveries, organised the builders, plumbers, painters, etc. & even the rubbish removals, so there was never any mess outside, as well as keeping us informed as to progress and need for me to choose the next fitting or fixture.

How many people does it take to change a bathroom? Good customer service involves the whole team working together and dealing with problems before the client is even aware of them. This summary of a case study outlined in the June/July 2011 Plumber's Journal shows it working at its best in a $90k+ bathroom upgrade in Wellington. "We had four quotes to replace the black Dux Quest plumbing in our three storey townhouse in Newtown. Mander plumbing was one of those four and came recommended. We chose them for their realistic price and what convinced us most was the method of approaching the fix. Gavin from Mander Plumbing suggested a complete repipe - existing Dux Quest piping would remain in situ, but be rendered useless. Mander would then install a complete new plumbing system. Mander completed the job within a few days and we were very impressed by how non-invasive and tidy the workmanship was. They further project managed the whole refit by engaging an electrician and plasterer. We were spared the hassle of trying to decide which company to use and the organising of who came on what day etc.
